FOUNDATIONAL STATEMENT OF LA CONSOLACION COLLEGE CALOOCAN

The educational thrust of LCC-C is influenced by the OSA Charism and Vision/Mission Statement. Thus, there is a need to consider these statements as guidelines in the implementation of the school’s goals and objectives in its educational program and apostolate.

A. OSA CHARISM

All our search for service to fellowmen must be based on the Gospel. We believe, likewise, that the call for today’s society is for every man to have justice and equal opportunity to participate in nation building. The church must always be the guardian of man’s dignity and freedom.
As Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation, we are, therefore, called through our Charism to incarnate with Living faith the Compassionate Christ in a Community of Friends and in Humble Enduring Service to the Church especially the poor through Evangelization.

B. VISION/MISSION STATEMENT OF THE AUGUSTINIAN SISTERS OF OUR LADY OF CONSOLATION (ASOLC)

Moved by the spirit of the risen Christ, we, the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation, as a community of women disciples, envision ourselves to become prophetic witnesses by our life of action contemplation.
In solidarity with our people, especially the poor, we commit ourselves to Christ and His mission through renewed integral evangelization that will effect personal communal conversion for the transformation of the world and integrity of creation towards the realization of the Reign of God.
