THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT (BSHM) PROGRAM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) program is a four-year program that addresses the needs of the hospitality industry that includes hotels, restaurants, resorts, fastfood outlets, cruise lines, academic and culinary schools and the like.

Objectives

The BSHRM program of LCC-C aims to produce graduates whose Christian outlook, nationalist orientation and professional skills and competencies are applied to the creative and responsive development and utilization of manpower resources, indigenous and local materials, thereby contributing to the development of an efficient, self-reliant and authentically Filipino hotel and restaurant management sector of the country.

Specifically, the objectives of the program are to:

  • Produce graduates whose Christian outlook, professional skills and competencies are applied to creative and responsive development of human resources thereby contributing to the development of efficient, self-reliant and authentic hoteliers and restaurateurs; and
  • Generate highly effective managers who have the knowledge, skills and global perspective necessary to work with others to solve problems in an independent, culturally diverse, and technologically advanced world.

  • Hotel and restaurant attendant
  • Supervisor

Besides gaining possible employment in hotels (deluxe, first class, standard or economy) as well as in restaurants (fine-dining, semi-casual, theme restaurants, coffee shops, or bars), vast opportunities also await HRM graduates in the following areas:
